Matthew 16:18 says, "on this Rock, I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it"
Which rock? Jesus is this rock. Much more, the revelation of Jesus is the rock. The initial and progressive revelations of Jesus Christ gives you faith or convictions that create solidity and stability in times of Crisis! Even just one revelation of Jesus Christ is sufficient to destroy the works of the devil!
There are troubles and problems that bombard our lives. They are meant to knock us down and take us out. But those with a solid rock foundation will make it out. Yes, if you are standing on the rock, that is Christ, you can prevail against extraordinary and unnatural troubles- hellish, they may be!
1 Peter 2:4-5 says, "As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house"
What does this mean? The church, the body of Christ, is constructed by the same material as the foundation! You are the church being built on the rock. The House On The Rock is Rock.
YOU ARE BEING BUILT TO STAND, WITHSTAND, AND REMAIN STANDING!
Prayer: Just as Joshua had a revelation of him (Jesus, the Captain of the Hosts), when confronted with the gates of Jericho, and as a result of that encounter (revelation), he had victory, may your eyes be opened to see God bigger and stronger than your battles, in the name of Jesus. May you have victory in this time of troubles. May the Lord lift up His Standard against the flood of waters raging to destroy your house, home, life, family, business, relationships, investments, peace, and joy.
